Grass eating animals or ruminants quickly swallow the grass during feeding and store it in a part of stomach called as rumen. In rumen this grass is partially digested. This partially digested grass is termed as Cud. When finishes its feeding it brings small lumps of cud back into it\'s mouth and chew it thoroughly. This process is termed as rumination and animals which show rumination are called ruminants. The cellulose is type of carbohydrate which is digested in grass eating animals but not in our body. This is because grass eating animals have a small sac like structure between their small intestine and large intestine called Caecum. There is a bacteria named as Ruminococcus. This bacteria is responsible for digestion of cellulose in animals. It is absent in human beings. Amoeba on the other hand is unicellular and microscopic organism which lacks well developed digestive system. It capture the food molecule by general body surface with help of pseudopodia.
